Recently, I bought a pair of Vasque Gore-Tex hiking/backpacking boots for my upcoming trip to Philmont, New Mexico for a Boy Scout trip. How do I know when they are broken in? I have been wearing them around town and the house for about 3 days.

Im 14 but i love mountain biking! One guy told me that i am as advanced as a 21 year old. But yea i go to this one place but the same trails over and over again get boring! Know of any in Ohio?

I live on Long Island but want to go hiking somewhere north of the city. Any suggestions on where and whether I need a pass would be helpful.
